Go to www.davidsilverspares.co.uk and get Nissin pads (these are what Honda fitted from new)

Cost is pennies more than EBC, they perform better in all conditions including from cold, don't eat discs like EBC HH ones do, and I never heard of them delaminating yet (this happened to my rears on a CB-1 last year, and the same again to a pair on my dad's CB-1 rear just recently - "dodgy batch" sounds ever less plausible).

+ NC29 swingarm ('29 wheels soon), Quill T3 Ti, lots of black, blade rear hangers, beet rearsets, brembo brake. Top mods: BT45's, touring screen & rack with 50L box! Stolen recovered, scumbags best not try again.

You haven't said what calipers your bike has yet ;)

If you call DSS they'll have the part number for you.

Wemoto only keep pattern parts - eg. EBC, see the pictures above for a review of them, and Armstrong, which I have never heard a good word about.

After 6 years and 50+k miles on various pads (nissin, EBC kevlar, EBC HH, ferodo HH) I think I am qualified to say Nissin are the best out there for street riding, certainly without splashing out on carbon lorraine or SBS dual carbon. DavidSilver's will sell you each pair of Nissin pads at around £17. They will work better, last longer, and do less damage to your discs than EBC pads.

Clichéd as it may be; this is your safety. The cheapest price is not always the most relevant thing. AS much as that, bad braking will spoil your enjoyment of riding.

You can also buy Nissin pads from your local Honda dealer, they will cost about the same and may have Honda on the packet, but they're made by Nissin.

Same as a hornet.

Why does it matter what pad number they are? Just phone dave silver and say you want pads for a cb400sf.

Blade calipers will not fit. Nothing will without brackets.

You don't appear to be listening, so I won't bother writing on this thread any more.

by the way there is no need to be rude, or are you the resident expert and how dare someone know something you dont. i wanted a part number so i can buy them in da local bike shop in a hurry for em like and Mr. Silver says it will take 2 weeks to send poxy brake pads to ireland. if you'd read my earlier post you would see that i said i'd ring them (Silvers).
