Im in the process of taking the head off my zxr400h1, just wondering how do u remove the cam chain, is there a split link or is there a different way of doing it?

should just come off once tension is released iirc. |
zxr400 L4 import, micron race system, #105 main jets, k&n filter, rsd crash mushrooms etc etc |

you have to remove the chams and file a little of the oil lip at the bottom and then it will come. |

some dont have the lip at the lower pulley though |

It takes a lot of wiggling and its a bloody tight squeeze but it'll come out. You might need to twist the crank as you lever it out.
Keep trying - its awkward but will come - I thought mine would need a load of dremmeling but perseverence paid off.
