right then yesterday my battery appeared to die, would turn engine over just and then make the clicking noise, bumps first time though, went out for a ride to see if i could get it to charge and nope still wouldnt start off the battery after an hours ride.
an odd thing though is whilst riding when i pull up to the lights and engage the clutch the lights brighten, and when i set off the lights dim.
typical symptoms of a shagged reg/rec when the lights dim when revving... get a volt meter across the battery when it starts...rev it up to about 6000rpm...if the voltage goes above around 14.5v then your reg/rec is screwed, not a big job and very common
So I Think My Battery Has Died :/
