My headlight stopped working today. It doesn't come on with the ignition, and main beam doesn't work either, but the 'pass' switch makes it work. Checked and changed the bulb, checked all the fuses and it still doesn't work. Short of going through all the wiring are there any other suggestions????? My heated grips are wired in to the headlight but are not plugged in at the moment and haven't been for ages so Im assuming that they shouldn't be affecting it......

Good times!

Obvious start point is the RH bar switchgear if it works off the pass switch on the left. Try it again with high beam selected just to be sure its not just the low beam filament in the bulb

I've got 4 words for you sonny: ...

Yeah the bulb was fine, turned out it was the RH switchgear. The connection for the relay that cuts the light out had come away so I re-soldered it and all is fine......

Good times!
