So I know that i'm gonna cut the chain down to 104 links, but is that 104 including the soft link that came with the chain or is it 104 plus the soft link?

I went for 104 including the soft link in the end, as this meant removing four links from the new chain, which left two narrow links to accomodate the connecting link.
Just taken her for a blast up the road and she is running smooth as ever!!

The soft link should be the 104th for an NC30, 102nd for a 35.
