I did a transaction with a Japanese biker for some chrome fenders for my the CB400 NC36. He could get them for £60 less than David Silver so I paypalled him and after 4 weeks of nailbiting the fenders arrived. My Japanese friend did it as a service but asked me to top up because of banking charges and he also wondered if I could source locally. I got the hint.
On my search for parts I came across a shop www.ilovemotor.jp that was breaking my type of bike. They can also order new parts from Honda Japan. You might save yourself some money on the VAT if you're not hit by import duty and parcelforce charges. If you want I can dig out the email of my contact. At the time when I looked they had some 5 petrol tanks for the Superfour.
The superfour is also very popular in Singapore. The local bikers have their own website. Every now and again one of them pops over here to have a look on this forum. I know people there and visit Sg regularly but I'm not interested in setting up some dealing.
In the end of the day, Wemoto and David Silver Spares are your first stop to get parts.
Cheers, Mansie |

I've got a mate in Japan that's buying parts for people from Yahoo Japan. He charges 10%, with a minimum charge of £4 for any orders under 10000 Yen, (£40).I could find out if he'sd interested in helping you out. If you want to know more you can e-mail me at drewskovitch(@)hotmail.com |

Hi Dick,
Not to hijack the thread but someone told me you stuck a VTEC spec tail unit on your BP1.. Is this correct? If so was it a straight fit and did you also change the tail light? If so was that a straight fit also?
Thanks and sorry about the thread hijack guys....

Yup, Our locally fabricated VTEC Tail here is pretty much bolt-on. All you need is a little painting to match your bike. The tail was created by a local ride buddy mine by making a mold of the VTEC cowl & also a mold of the older PB1 & the end mold was of a front part off a PB1 & the wide rear of the VTEC. This was done to make sure the holes for the bolts line up for proper alignment. Ill try to get a pic off my ride buddies bike & let me know if its what everyones looking for... |

Can you get me a quote including shipping to MALTA(Europe) for the following items (i'd prefer individual quotes):
* Vtec tail for BP1 * Hugger * Fork Brace * Yoshimura End-can * Fender-eliminator (providing it can be used with the VTec tail
Can he also get his hands on the clear lights for the BP1?
Thanks,
Chris |
