rite then im just overhauling the nc30 and thought id check the main jets sizes as the throttle response is a bit poo. im changing the spark plugs and air filter as well as the main jets.
at the moment all 4 main jets are 117.5
whatb shoud i change them to? i also have a twin port blueflame can on it with NO baffles in it.
any help appreciated.

Generally speaking, with just an end can, you can get away with not upgrading the juets, however, if you have no baffles, then i'd recomment going up a size...
Maybe to 120's all round?? |

is your airbox standard? have you looked at your plugs?
You say throttle response is poo - how so. from pickup> 1-5k revs? in the midrange 5-9k revs?
good mod for throttle response is to drill the slide hole to 2.5mm. enables the slide to react quicker and so improving thottle response

Yeah you would probably want to set the idle screws and balance the carbs also. |

i was correct on this the other day,the slide reacts slower as the hole is larger more air can pass through it and it takes longer to lift thus making the mix richer,but your right ,response is improved |
