Some bloke called Steggy won three of the four... never heard of him myself, but I hear he's quite fast... Adam Lyon won the fourth 400 race, where Steggy was second and young Maxypoop was third :respect:

Max had a crap time with his bike Saturday, used Steve's in the second race but DNF'd. I can only assume he got his working again for Sunday? I told him he should never have gone to the dark side... :D
1.38 round Cadwell is very tasty... |

Graeme, was the 1.38 at cadwell on a 6 or a 400?
Was a good weekends racing, adam had some bad luck on saturdays racing looking good in both the wet and dry, Max had trouble saturday also but they both showed that they will be at the front with their sundays race results.
Steve looked good all weekend and deserved the 3 wins and has set his stool out early! The one to catch now with a big target on his back for the others to shoot at!
Dan Wilmot did good too getting two podiums and 4 good finishes, Phil P showed he still has what it takes and Mike Edwards looked good with a steady start, i think there is more to come from all the riders and its a long season!
Good luck to all and welcome to all other 400 riders who might want a change of scenery, bemsee bikes are pretty much formula 400 spec now running on treaded tyres so easy to do a round or two if you are from anoter club.

Was a great weekend, well pleased for Adam Lyon getting his win after a bit of a nightmare - really deserved it! Also top riding from Max - getting a podium in the big boys class in your first round out after your rookie year is quite an achievement!
And as for Steve, well, what a star!! |

It was on the 6 - not me timing BTW - Frear senior - I think Dan's brother got into the 1:37s.
Dan was trying the R6 (std engine) following a quick shifter / headers job - he also had a couple of sessions to check one of my old NC23s following a recent rebuild - went well considering fresh motor with the wrong gearing.
I understand Ric is still in Hospital so what with Josh's blown Kwak - not a good day for their group - but these things happen.
Our best at Cadwell on a 400 last year was a 1:40 so we need to improve on that !!

I was only there for the Friday (spanny for seton tuning). Heard about Adams first win, about time, pleased for him, hopefully more for the rest of the season. Donnington next weekend, whose going, be there whole weekend! |
