my better halfs 96 super four has a knock when the front breaks are applied. If its not the head stock bearings any one have any ideas where else to look?

Hhmmmm... head bearings would be the first place to look I guess but if you're sure it's not them, maybe the caliper, fork bushes, damper rod bolt come loose? wheel bearings? If possible, get someone to bounce the front up and down while you listen to the forks with a screwdriver acting like a stethoscope. |

fork bushes most likely. ask yourself if you can really be bothered to take the forks apart for it? i suggest leave it til the seals next pop, then do a rebuild with all 4 bushes, oil and all 4 seals. |
