I've been trying to find a supplier for a power relay for a sub woofer but I can't find any alternatives so far. The relay went sticky through lack of use. (I Think)
I've contacted the main supplier H. Kuhnke Ltd but they can only supply in min order qtys of 1000 which is useless to me & KEF just keep telling me that to replace the board will cost about £120.
Anybody got any idea where I can find a replacement or alternative that would do the job? I've tried using the RS & Fanell part finder thingy but it's a pain in the arse.
have you tried a motorfactors? or someone like 'ring' i know they do a whole load of stuff electrical ive used em for spotlights and such and they do a fair few relays i think!
hiya, as you tried rs electronics rswww.com what about maplin? could you not use an car one and just solder some wire onto the blade connectors, find loads in a scrappy. i dont believe the hype about loss of quality over such a small area considdering the pcb is only made of copper and all the components are soldered on anyway, but each to there own. Cheers Ian
