How did the oil get out? Is it still leaking? Knocks to the LHS can knock the pickup sensor and damage it or put it out of line.

In what way isn't it starting - spinning but not firing, not spinning, etc. Batteries don't like being tipped on their sides, can damage a/some cells.

Little help here, please ;)

I got my biked knocked onto the LH side, wouldn't start but eventually kicked in with some serious throttle, and the bike spat a load of crud (oil/petrol mix) out of the air filter drain. If its been on the LH side a long time the air filter may be completly gunged up with oil etc.....???

Good times!

where is it leaking from? That needs sorting out before you even think any more about why it's not running. the alloy cover can get a hairline crack. If it's leaking a little bit now, it'll leak much quicker under normal pressure, and if you go and ride it Bad Things will happen to the insides of your engine.
