Unusual request here - Anyone got a pic of the collector for a Beet 4-1 system. I bought a set of pipes at the weekend and the collector was made by a fabricator to replace the shagged original and it looks well weird although the guy selling it claims its a like for like copy. Would like to check it though...

Cheers

I can't get at a digital camera at the mo but its basically a Cone with 4 pipes in the big ensd and a reciever for the secondary on the other end. The outer shape does not follow the profile of the downpipes at all. It may well have a theory behind it, as its big enough to almost act as a chamber for the headers to discharge into but I don't know - I'll have to try it out!
There are no balance tubes on mine - its only a stainless system though. It has that slightly rough "made for racing not prettiness" quality about it. The scorpion I have a tth emoment is a thing of beauty in comparison. Its going onto a race bike so appearances are well down the list of priorities.

Cheers for the pics lads!

I've sketched up a solid model that looks like mine but need to figure out haw to attach it!

Its beautifully made and the guy tells me its an exact copy of the one that was on it (damaged in a crash) but I've never seen one like it before.

Weird indeed!

Just went out and double checked mine, both sets, one steel, one Ti, have the balance tube and the collector looks like the photo.
