Oh ja, the drill bit method is on here somewhere.
This has a mention of using a nail..but use a 1mm drill bit instead

I doubt it... but worth a try... otherwise a honda dealer - spares department should supply it... otherwise try racebox in edenvale(i think) or as mentioned before, get them from Rick Oliver...

You should be able to pick up the jets at any bike shop/mechanic, they are just keihin type jets.

Yeah you can balance the carbs off the bike without vacuum guages, it's an easy way of doing it and will get it as close us you need really.

take a read of these for some more info:

Nope. You need 10w 40 oil. And it really should be motorcycle specific oil if you can get your hands on it where you are. The clutch can be a bit sensitive to oil selection too so go for a semi-synthetic oil.

car oil doesnt work in a bikes engine as it has no protection for the gearbox components. Russ

ok guys, got some feedback! so i cleaned the carbs, checked all the pilot jets, dot other main jets today :

aparently these are actually WEBER CARBURATOR JET TIPE, but the thread is the same, just the head thats smaller, the guy at she carb shop said they would work perfectly, and i confermed this at 2 more other carb dealers,

Only problem is , instead of 118front and 120rear, i got 117.5front and 120rear!!? would this be a problem CAMMO?? Anyone?

so i put them in, and also did the washer thing with the slide needles, problem with them is i couldnt get 0.5mm washers, i put 1mm washers in!!? is this a problem?

I balanced the carbs, using the drill bit method, and set the mixture screws to 2 1/4 out, all 4,

So i tried to start it after struggling to put all back on bike, and it struggled to start for a WHILE, eventually it started, and i adjusted the idling knob so it would idle nicely after it started to become a bit warmer, so when it reach normal temp, i reved it a bit, but it sounded really bad!! missing and stuff! after struggling for a while, i noticed that when i held the bike upright and not on the sidestand it idled and reved perfectly???? this i dont understand? can anyone please explain this to me?

Please le me know what u guys think

thanx guys

Maybe the floats are stuck or not adjusted properly?... or the carb rubbers not sealing properly?...
