Cheers Angel mate, with regards to the radiator cover, I'm sure I read somewhere on here that the Hornet uses the same radiator as the S/F, if this is the case you can get one from M&P or similar, bit pricey though, a cheaper option is to take the cover off, polish the side guards (and allen bolts, or replace), clean the plastic surround, the grill is held in by little clips which you can pop off with a flat blade, either replace with some s/s mesh, or clean the original and spray with chrome paint, reassemble and jobs a good'n. |

Hi there houdini,
Sounds cool, as long as you don't mind that would be great, thank you! Can I be really cheeky and ask how much, don't want to walk into the place and think I am getting a bargain but am actually being ripped off.
Cheerio for now..........

K&N Part No. HA-4020, do a search for K&N dealers in your area on Google or something. (don't forget some dyno time to get the setup sorted.)
As for huggers and belly pans, you've missed out on a shipment organised by angel66 and jim5335 of various goodies, hopefully further shipments may follow, quite fancy a set of new shocks meself.
Oh, and welcome. |

Hi
Does anyone know if a cbr600 rear wheel will fit the s4 and what is needed to complete this project. Seeing Dick Steel's Bike has inspiration. |

Bro, if you have a PB1, Version R & S, your max is a 5 inch rim on the back with only mods to the spacers. My stock 5 inch rim that was on my Hyper VTEC was purchased & already installed by a buddy of ours whos restoring a PB1 with a get this.....a 180/55 rear tire!!! So depending what year the CBR rims is, just check the markings on the rims itself. If it says 5.5 & youre installing it on a PB, R & S, that will be a challenge. You will definitely need a deep pocket for it to work....keep us up to date. |

Bro, not much. A few things will be involved for your project to work. And also a trip to the machine shop might be needed. But first, check the CBR Rim if your old sprocket & flange will fit in it & let me know ASAP....Will be waiting. Thankx for the props on my bike. It was a 2 week project total but i think it was worth the wait. It was a 16' front & 17' rear rim off a 93 CBR 900RR which sported a 5.5 rear end. I was still using my newly purchased 180/55 Metzeler Sportec M1s that i had on my Spec 1 before. But now the tire was more profound & spread out because of the wider rim. Before, i couldnt lean the bike all the way coz the edges of the tire was not completely in contact with the road. The front also sported a 130/70 R16 & the results were great!!! The front became more flickable & much easier to turn, though I might need a damper for this to avoid an easy tank slap.... |
