You know the wire's on the carbs, the electrical cables.
Are they the wires to the solenoids to stop the petrol flowing into the float chambers, when the ignition is turned off. (basically to stop pre-ignition.)
Or are they for something else? |

The CB-1 doesn't have any. It's probably carb heaters if it's one per carb and another one onto the common metal rail as earth. The CB-1 draws air off the engine, nice and warm, keeps the carbs from freezing. Never had that on the -1 even in snow. The divvy does it anywhere below 3 deg. |
WWW.HONDACB1.CO.NR + NC29 swingarm ('29 wheels soon), Quill T3 Ti, lots of black, blade rear hangers, beet rearsets, brembo brake. Top mods: BT45's, touring screen & rack with 50L box! Stolen recovered, scumbags best not try again. |

solenoids, that stop the needle valve allowing fuel into the float chamber. Yes they are on carbs, as well as on fuel injection.
I suppose its only more modern vechicles with carbs.
I just wondered because my cb has wires coming off each carb. Of course i don't want to strip my carbs down to find out, I thought i'd ask. |
