Welcome to the wonderful forum for all things 400. :) Just a comment if you do end up getting the vfr or rvf you will most likely fall in love with it even more. |

looks nice but gotta suspect maybe a small drop on the left with the damage all on the left side? best bet is to go look at it in person, pictures never as good as seeing it in the flesh! |

doesnt look too bad, to be honest if that was me i wouldnt have even noticed those cracks. sounds like a guy who has a keen eye, and probably done his best to look after it. just wait and see what the more experienced members think first though, as im new to biking aswell. |

it certainly does look in very good condition. the tank looks questionable. looks to me like some rust might be developing under the paint, and with that type of thing you just dont know how deep it could run.
as for the fairings, dont worry, a night with some plastex will sort that right out
looks like a standard system. judging by seat height, standard rear shock and no mods to the braking. standard lines too.
check when valve clearances were last done, and with any vehicle, it would be good to see it in the flesh first, and hear her fire up.
nice colours too. same as mine :)
new battery might suggest charging probs which these bikes do develop, but i am guessing it may just not have been taken out much, or an old battery.
welcome to the site dude |
On the lookout for a cheap VFR400. Cosmetically, dont really care, must be mechanically sound. Must get me home :) |

welcome mate, i think youd do well having that for a 1st bike, it looks nice and at least the sellers being honest with you! many ebayers (in my opinion) arnt, the crease in the tank might be a problem later in the bikes life but the cracks in the fairing look quite easy to fix, go for it lad!! plus its a honda! hondas RULE |

May i welcome the father and son combo, not sure about that RVF though. Looks like the owner wont budge from that 2 grand mark. I know if that was mine i wouldnt. See ya soon Andy and lofty. Oh and the battery and sparks were changed due to been sat in a barn for nearly a year. |
