It's a complete Ducati front end - no messing about then, plus the only other thing needed to be altered is to remove the steering damper mount from the Ducati yoke. But as mentioned in a previous post light weight aftermarket wheels are readily available for the ducatis. |

After having a chat with other, and Graeme, the Ducati front conversion is not really what i am looking to do, as i want to try and keep the bike as original in terms of running gear as possible, i.e. bits from other Honda's and then get aftermarket brakes, exhaust etc.
As this is less farting about, oh thats a good question, is the RVF and VFR front wheels the same, i.e. same spindle size and brake positions etc. |

Ha ha ha, oh my God! I almost didn't do it, I almost didn't do it! I thought, is this in bad taste? But you know what, I went for it. I went for it and I'm so glad I did! Ooooh, worth it, totally worth it.

Well to give you all an idea as to what i am looking to do see pics:

This is the colour scheme i want to do the most as it is the most iconic, however this is still an option as only people in the know would recognise is:

The look is kinda set in stone, i am going to do the front ala RVF suzuka (can you get a clear instead of green cover for the light?)
With an SP-1 rear fairing, as i prefer the look of this, especially with the either side exhausts.
The other colour option is to do the most up to date castrol scheme:

Finally doeas anyone know if the SP-1 rear fairing will go onto an nc30\rvf subframe without too much buggeration.
What do you think of my plans, i am doing this one of these ways, just curious what you think of my idea, good, crap etc
cheers all

personally I would keep the standard rear...
as for the paint jobs I am doing either a Horipro or Oki rep soon. |

By standard you mean RVF single seat jobbie?
Aye twood be nice, it depends on how the suzuka front looks, it looks a bit square, more like the nc30 rather than 35 rounder front, but i can't find a fibreglass RVF front with light holes. |

If you use rvf forks you will need a rvf spindle and spacers, wheel is ok off nc30 , not sure but think you need rvf calipers but I used cbr6rr calipers. Give gavin a ring at jap4 about billet yokes as ive just had a set off him which have a nc30 stem and rvf yokes. |

The nc30 and nc35 subframes are interchangable so it will fit a treat, I have another conversion ready to send out £200 delivered. |

I've pencilled in a front end conversion if I get bored this winter...so might be in touch Riley. An Ohlins/Brembo Ducati front end does sound rather tempting...I'd have to budget for a Dymag rear wheel though, so the number of spokes match... |

No problem Craig just let me know, I've just had my last 2 sets machined (these may be my last for some time as the parts aren't exactly easy to get hold of). To be honest if I had the money I'd go for the Dymags for it too, good choice. |

Rick 138 give gavin at jap4 a call or email him with what you are after and im sure he will email you back with all the prices you are after, from recolection though the six pot ISR calipers to fit the marzocchis are around £400-£450 per caliper with pads the Marzocchi forks to fit a 400 are the 43mm items and cost £895 and the billet yokes are £350 |
