Hi all first post unfortunately necessary. Lovely woman knocked my CB1 1990 today small bit of damage need clutch lever perch which I found on wemoto and clocks are badly damaged functionally ok but all the casing needs replacing. Was on wemoto but no photos of parts for clocks so unsure what exactly I need. They had listed Clocks- Packing for £8.33,
Clocks Speedometer £96.35,
Clocks Speedo Tacho Lower case £37.49 and
Clocks Tacho/Seedo Top Case £60.28.
I'm not really sure which of these I need and dont want to splash out on stuff I dont even though she is footing the bill.
I'm sure both upper and lower plastic casing needs replacing but the rest seems fine. Any advice is much appreciated. |

Hi there. Top case would be the black part that also contains the idiot lights (such as the full beam/neutral etc). Lower case is just the grey'ish part that wraps around the bottom.
Looking at the price of 'Clocks Speedometer' I would presume that is the entire speedometer assembly minus the casing. Packing I would presume is the underlay where it displays the revs/mph/kph.
Hope this helps somewhat 
Also if you could post pics of your damaged speedo, I could tell you what you need to replace.  |

| packing - there's a little polystyrene gasket between the front case and the actual gubbins, could be that. |

Cant post photos here but thats a big help will be ordering the parts this week. Wemoto by far the cheapest supplier Ive found.
Still not sure about the packing but will buy it just in case.
Its not my money and would hate to have to order it after Ive gotten everything else.

| Incidentally, I know someone with a secondhand set of clocks in A1 nick who doesn't want silly money for them. MPH ones too. That's Ray on here, I have his mobile if you want it? |

Just ordered the parts before I logged on the casings ended up costing me around £106. Would have been handier to order the set from Ray but wouldnt worry too much about it.

Actually I would be interested in this as having problems now getting top casing.
