trying to source some clear indicators to fit the original fittings on the fairings, anyone have these on their bikes? I've seen them on peoples bikes so they must exist, any ideas where to get some? cheers guys. |

I had a quick look and they do look the same as the VFR indicators. Obviously they come with Chrome effect bodies, but you might be able to unscrew the lenses and fit them to your std. black ones. Not 100% sure though. |

lol no worries mate go for it, im not sure about the silver backs! if you get them let me know what theyre like. if you can really swop the orange covers for these then i might get a pair but dont want to chance it without being sure. |

yeah ive seen that busters site before, think i actually bought a pair of small indicators from them but never managed to fit them. does anyone know the best way to fit ones like these? Im guessing they need to fit the rubber mounts so they can attach to the fairing, only it looks so untidy as there are holes still showing, have looked at indy spacers but they dont fit the fairing mounts! any suggestions anyone?? someone must have fitted aftermarket indicators before!! |

I'd opt for the RVF items, which should fit. I know from memory that the clear lenses advertised do fit RVF indicators. Personally, not a fan of 'micro' indicators - they seem to attract the eye too much for being so small, rather than standard-sized indicators looking......"right" (Blade/UK spec NC30 excluded). |

not sure about the polished back look on those rvf ones, looking at them do you think they just attach to the original fixings and then to the rubber mounts? im not sure

The lens are attached with 2 screws. You can remove it from silver housing and mount to your black housing. |

cheers guys, probably the first time i have read someone say they are inspired by my bike on this forum ..... but anyway back to the point joe, those clear indicators will work on your bike, you take the clear lens part away from the silver backing part and screw them onto the black backing part you have on your bike already
i have been watching those ones on ebay as i was going to put them on claires rvf or keep them as spares for me but you go ahead and get them, far far better looking than anything busters sells
oh and in a few days i'll post up pics of my bike finally finished, look forward to hearing what people have to say |

OKAY, just to reprise this thread for the final time..ish, I bought the indicators off johnh79, arrived yesterday thank you very much! buuut, looks like I forgot to mention that i have an nc30!! the clear parts will certainly fit onto 35 indicators but the 30 ones are much smaller, DOH!!! oh well, they do fit the rubber mounts so i will run them with the silver backs for now. Does anyone have a set of rvf indicators they dont want? so i can use the backs? gona have a look on ebay now. chhers guys |
