 Running a VFR in California?

The wife wants to move to California. Is it possible to get these bikes registered there? As far as I know there is no harder place in the US to register and maintain a vehice when it comes to smoging.

Any input appreciated.

94 NC30
NC35 Carb with HRC horns. carbon tray and carbon airbox with foam filter.
Tyga header with end can.Samco red rad hoses.
Tyga rearset, with Tyga body work. Rick Oliver clip-ons with Renthal grips.

CA is the hardest place to try to get a grey market bike plated. Is not impossiable, but very hard. good luck

That was me who started that thread on the BARF. There is an NC35 already registered for street use in their classifieds section right now. That would save some hassle for you. Keep in mind, I got mine through in Oregon, where it was actually really easy. I have no idea what the proper procedure for California is.
