Hey guys, I know my bike isn't a 400 but could I still ask for advice for the above.

It's a silly problem to have my brother was reversing his bike into the shed and the rearset hit the frame and snapped it and bent the rod for changing gear.

We've replaced the parts but we're having trouble finding the gears, also when I was putting it on I noticed that there we're no marks to line it up.

Any ideas.

Very difficult to select 2nd when you are not moving. Have you tried it on the road yet?

You may have bent the shift shaft causing it to be misaligned.
