Maybe they're nothing but, when my NC24 is cold and you try to engage 1st gear it stalls. Once the bike is warm, it's fine. Why?
Secondly when I park it up and I turn the key to lock, the parking lights come on. Shouldn't the steering lock, then turn the key further to switch on the parking lights?
Could any explanations be in lamens terms because I'm not too technically minded with bikes.
second - why not let your bike warm upa touch before you start riding it? bikes, espcially old ones, love to be reated well and letting the oil get up to temp before you go riding off on them is a good call. Sounds like the clutch is dragging with cold oil and causing it to stall. so, adjust it, or warm it up for 5 mins.
parking lights - got no idea mate..but am sure some of the NC24 posse will be along soon to sort you out
Thanks mate, will try and adjust the clutch later when I get my haynes manual (even though it's an NC30 manual) so that i get a good idea of how it's done.
