Fancy reading though a load of old greybike magazines ?
too young to remember them first time round ? in that case read on. Thanks to Hipringle’s generosity he has passed on a load of old greybike magazines to be recycled around the members. So if you fancy borrowing them put your name down here at the end of this post.

This is how it will work. I will post them on at my cost to the next person on this list, and that person will then buy me a raffle ticket for the RVF. Then within a week he will do the same and someone will buy a raffle ticket for him and so on and so on. Also i would like each person to donate the same amount to dave@400greybike.co.uk to help with the annual funding and site costings and hosting. however this is at your discretion.

The magazines are as follows
April / May 97 feat 250 hornet and Magna, Vmax test and NSR survey results.
June / July 97 feat RGV250SP VJ23 and ZX10, GSX400F
Winter 96 feat RGV250SP, Eliminator,
Autumn 96 feat Triarm, Katana, CBR750, GPZ400, Full NSR series
Summer 96 feat Hot NC30, ZXR400 and 2 x 250 4’s
Spring 96 feat GSX400FW, R1Z, RF400, CBR750 and the TT
Autumn 95 feat FZR Series, Tuning NSR250, Racing NC21 and GSXR400 and FZR250 project and ZZR400
Spring 95 feat The first RVF in the UK, 3XV shootouts, 400 bandits and CBR250RR
Summer 95 feat NSR250MC28, XJR v ZRX, TZR models

Now if we can keep it fair and only keep these for a week please before passing them on to the next person. That will give you enough time to read them from cover to cover and enjoy. Also please keep them in the same condition so many people can enjoy them and get the benefit.
If someone fails to pass them on in a timely manner, or refuses to buy the sender a ticket then consider thier account binned and subject to some special mailings.

Benefits are – if you don’t remember them then consider them a good education curve into the history of 400’s and one of the finest publications from the 90’s which was sadly lost as a casualty of war when imports slowed down.
The Raffled RVF will be sold out quicker and we each have a greater chance of winning this bike.
Dave will have a pot to p1ss in, and can breath slightly easier when each quarters hosting bill comes in.

Thanks to Hipringle for passing them to me first, (ticket on its way)

I thank you.

Ok so who’s first then ?

Just to confirm, we need to buy a raffle ticket for a tenner and donate a tenner too?

No, just the tenner raffle: This equates to a sort of donation as there's a slice of the raffle money going towards the site. This way you 'rent' the mags, get a raffle ticket as part of that rent when you send them on to the next person and you donate to the site, all in one go. On top of the raffle ticket cost, the only other cost is postage when you send them on. Job's a good 'un.

If you could shoot anybody in the world, would it be Akon?

That looks to me like you need to donate as well. I'm not complaining, quite the opposite, it's a very good idea and further proof of the site's resourcefulness, but I just want to clear up what we need to do.

what about scanning and making into a PDF?

If you run bollock naked through town with a dildo hanging out your hole you'll turn heads too...

I think your missing the point. if you want to spend days scanning them in cool, for the sake of a few quid and not being a cheapskate then why not do as everyone else is doing ?
