cheers jim, my bike came with that black headlight assembly, it's a version R, however, as you can see the headlight assembly isn't that of a version R, so i rekon it might have been dropped or something over in japan and thus the different headlight, but i really like it, it's a bit cooler than the chrome headlights that everyone else has, in my opinion
notice also the mounting brackets for the headlight that bolt around the forks instead of the regular ones that bolt on to a bracket in front of the forks, i'd much rather have that sort of mount, but what can you do
thanks again for posting the pic dude |

If that came from a Version R, i couldnt tell. Never really liked the square lights anyway.
My bike has a few deep dinks on the headlight frame. I guess its been down on the left side before i got it. Reckon, i could put some epoxy primer over the dinks, smoothen, then give it a spray job this weekend.
Cheers. |

register with an image hosting site - i use photobucket.com then upload your photo (make sure it's resized to a suitable screen viewing size). on photobucket this is just a matter of hitting the browse button and going through your hard drive, a bit like attaching a file to an email. then, when the image is uploaded, they helpfully include the url to display it on a web page beneath the pic, it goes something like this:
you just paste in the tag and voila, one pic in your post. hope that's not too confusing. |

Hi skolsuper. I got the stainless steel headers custom made by a chap in nottingham. As for the end can i think its from a blade and its straight through (had to tap my own holes in to fit but its 3 bolt bolt on like original. Yeah she runs a bit rich but she goes a treat and have no probs with starting or running (very very rarley after a long run it will back fire) but i dont care and it looks a treat compared to the original black headers and quiet can. But having the v-tec prob helps to keep it running smooth. Hope this helps poshman

Sorry to burst your bubble Dick, but its still an S4! Im expecting delivery on monday. Its got brembo brakes, gold chain, braided brake hose, brand new metzeler Z1 tires upfront and back, full system exhaust and only 22,000 kms. on the clock. Can't wait to pimp this ride dude! |
