Gold Brembo 4pot front brake calipers that fit RSV, RS, RVF 400, NSR 250?
Just wondered what they were worth used but in good condition.
Cheers. |

£80 is actually a lot. I paid £40 for a red RSV-R set for my track bike and about £50 odd for gold Duc ones for my road bike. Maybe I was lucky at that price but it seems fair to me. |

Brembo Goldline, the actual caliper type depend on the bolt spacing, but generally they'll be cast jobbies and not worth a great deal. Not bad calipers though. One tip, Brembo DO NOT recomended brake cleaner for these calipers, clean with soapy water only. I don't think Brembo list a seal kit for them either. |

are you saying that they will bolt straight onto the bikes you have listed?
If so then they are robably worth a bit more than £50 which is the going rate for a set of goldline calipers like you get in the 916 et al..
However if they bolt straight onto an RVF with no adaptor plates I'll have first refusal

Ha ha ha, oh my God! I almost didn't do it, I almost didn't do it! I thought, is this in bad taste? But you know what, I went for it. I went for it and I'm so glad I did! Ooooh, worth it, totally worth it.

They are the same ones I have on my bike, the mounting holes are 65mm iirc and that is not RVF size, sorry monkey. |

Yeah, those look familiar. Sorry Billy, they are not an RVF bolt-on.

And these ones are the same ones I have on my track bike. |

I see where you mean, I'll investigate further in the morning. I know the wheels are shoddy and in need of a re-paint/powder-coat but they are the rims from my track bike so that is way down the pecking order to get sorted. A few tins of white from halfords might sort it |

You sure they fit the RSV, they look different to my RSV ones, they do go on the RS250 though.
And @ chicken they don't have dust seals no. |

just adding unsprung weigh for not that much more braking power..
granted the Brembos I had fitted to my NSR increased feel over the standard brakes but that is about all. |
