I appears Thorsten Durbahn is working on a custom RC30 alongside his new 1098. Looks like it’ll be getting fuel injection, various trick lightweight bits and the usual all carbon bodywork. He’s a busy man by the looks of it but still finds time to update a pretty good site. Well worth checking out his other projects too if you haven’t seen them before.

Gorgeous bikes and has done great work over the year, but what the fcuk is with those ^^^ sh!t indicators. Bin them, they are not a legal requirement. |

Ive been to Thorstens place and it's like an aladins cave of goodies the stuff he creates is incredible and his knowledge of motorcycles and how they work is second to none.

Looking at this guys site physically hurts me! 1: He's doing the same stuff Im trying to do with NC30 parts, but on the RC30 and he's about 10 years ahead of me in skill (probably more!) and 2: His stuff is SO GORGOUS!!! His gear shifters and brake pedals make me want to set fire to my stuff in disgust!
Damn him... |

Truly outstanding work. The site (and workmanship!) continues to get better with age.
Who wants to join me in pestering him to take on a 15 year old 400 as a project bike?? |
