hi all! got a mate with a gsxr400 91, needs a new starter and was wondering if he could fit one from any other bike! are there any alternatives? cheers
maybe a bandit but cant be sure on a 76 they go right on a 73

The bandit 400 will fit. There are probably a number of bikes whose starters will fit. I bet most suzukis in that era will have the same starter. Suzuki being one of the smallest of the japanese manufacturers cannot afford to order different starters for all of its bikes.
