Was wondering what people get from a tank and what you should get from reserve? What sort of miles can you expect from motorway journeys? Thanks in advance. |

I got 188 kms from mine and just as i pulled into the pump it died, good timing!! That was 120 odd km's of commuting at low speed and the rest going a little faster scrubbing in tyres in the country! Still had reserve to go and it managed to Squeeze 10-11 litres in. Only got the bike 2 weeks ago so i'm still getting used to how far i can go without needing fuel. |

Got 130 with a pillion, and 100 on a track day, got 30 miles out of my reserve once while riding at 55mph, put 15.1 litres in the tank so it must have been close. |
Perfectly nice, just not normal. |

you dont need a fuel gauge,
when you set off make sure the fuel tap is switched to on ride around till the engine starts to stall because your running out of fuel...
switch the fuel tap 180 onto reserve and head for a petrol station
easy

I've had around 120 miles from a tank on the NC29 doing mixed riding, but not thrashing it.
If I thrash it then I'm looking at about 60-70 miles. |

Can't understand how everyone is getting such poor milege. I normally get 250km, before switching to reserve....Mix of city, highway riding. |
